Abstract
The nose plays a signifcant role in the determination of man¢¥s appearance and is also a highly developed functional organ.
Functional reconstruction of the nose is pointed to the maintenance of an adequate air pas-sage into the nasopharynx. For the aesthetic reconstrction of the nose, tissue should be available with possible good match in terms of color, texture, . size and shape with surrounding tisseus.
We experienced four different methods of nasal reconstruction ; midline forehead. flap, scalping flap, free radial forearm flap and expanded forehead flap to reconstruct subtotal or total nasal defects in four patients.
We present their results and review their indications, advantages and limitations.
